Restaraunt Row in Dallas is actually the two mile area along I-35E around Walnut Hill, so named for the number of restaraunts and entertainment venues attracting locals and tourists to an otherwise unremarkable area. (There are supposed to be over 150 within a two mile radius). Obviously, listing that many would be more annoying that helpful so here are some recommendations.
Dave & Buster's (10727 Composite Dr) has everything for the whole family - reserve a pool table or a bowling lane with your dinner, have a high ball in the arcade while the kids go crazy on the video and arcade games. This first rate arcade is fun for all ages. This is a sprawling place with an almost resort type feel to it.
Do not wear a tie to the Trail Dust Steakhouse (10841 Composite Dr). You might suggest it to an unsuspecting friend, though. They REALLY WILL cut it off. There are places for the kiddos to play and a dance floor for the willing. Top it off with good steaks and it makes for a great night out.
The Old San Francisco Steak House (10965 Composite Dr)
Papadeaux Seafood a favorite of many with several locations throughout Dallas. Pappadeaux (pronounced Papa-dough) specializes in Cajun (French/Louisiana/Southern) cuisine. They don't slack on service, music or ambiance. The desserts are a must. Entrees are affordable and unforgettable. Crowded on Sundays as it is a favorite everywhere.
