Our family had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect. It was easy to find and its proximity to a very high end hotel and cultural attractions made it a gem...and a terrific value. At night, we walked across the street for cocktails and live music at a very luxurious property. The signature Embassy Suite breakfast buffet did not disappoint us at all. The omlet chef is awesome and the other breakfast offerings were plentiful and diverse. The 'icing' was the patio seating option. On the weekends, go to breakfast early....between 6:30 and 8 a.m. It gets a little conjested around 8:30. If you can afford it and want to make your stay 'special', upgrade to a room with a balony and a city view....they are both wonderful. The other amenities were nice...washer/dryer, business center and sundries shop...all on the property. The property was finishing up its renovations when we were there. The final touches will make the property even better. If you are used to Embassy Suites atrium construction, this property is not built to that model. It has more of an apartment/dorm suite feel. However, the rooms are much more spacious than the atrium style. All in all, a terrific value with just enough (not in your face, not in your way) staff service. Enjoy Philly!
