We stayed at the airport Hilton in March 2008. We were actually quite worried about the hotel from all the negative reviews, but, found the accommodations ok- not great- but nicer than described.

We booked through priceline - a nonsmoking room. They tried to tell us we booked a smoking room, and had to give us a handicapped accessible nonsmoking room as that was supposedly the only nonsmoking room left.

It took 25 minutes to check in- as priceline customers cannot use the express check in (hence, we waited in line for 25 minutes!)- and the hotel staff were very slow at checking in everybody.

There was a hole in the sheets on one of the queen beds.

The rooms did appear to be recently renovated. Although the decorator did not do a stellar job at coordinating accessories and furnishings, there was no problems with comfort.

The service in the sports bar was horrible. The waitress would not stop at our table without us hailing her down with great efforts. She never checked on us, she never asked how our food was, or never came back to refill drinks. THe food was ok, around what you would expect from a hotel dining room.

The parking lot appeared very safe and we had no problems with vandalism or theft.

Overall, this was a nice hotel room, it was certainly the worst Hilton (or "luxury" hotel) we ever stayed but was nicer than a comfort in. For the price, it wasn't bad.

The hotel is okay and is within 5 minutes of the airport. Best thing I can say is the airport shuttle is on time for depatures. Not a value hotel for the business travel, that is for sure. The restaurant had a very overpriced wine list and food was marginal at best. Stick to the Sports Bar, as fine dining at an airport hotel leaves a lot to be desired.

I stayed here one night last week for a business meeting in one of the conference rooms.

No particular comment on the front desk staff as it wasn't an issue or memorable. The room was standard Hilton fare and the bed had plenty of comfy pillows.

We had dinner downstairs one night and the food was pretty good although a tad on the high side. The wine list was good, but really pricey....one glass of Kendall Jackson Chard was over $15. You can get a bottle for less than that down the block.

I guess you have to accept when near airports, everything is more expensive.

After staying at other hotels nearby (embassy, Sheraton, Marriott) I would have to give this a comparable review. The quality in the room seemed to be there and everyone at the restaurants (dinner and breakfast) were more than accomadating and friendly.

I would stay here again, but might lean more towards the Embassy due to lower prices and the managers happy hour.

Wow, what a great job this hotel had done! I stayed here several years ago and I'm so glad I gave them a second chance. The renovation looks terrific! I don't know where they found their new staff, but everyone I encountered was friendly, courteous, well informed and some pretty funny. They did a very good job of keeping a smile on my face.

They re-did the sleeping rooms which are much brighter, clean and fresh. The marble bathroom looks great. I heard they're getting all new flat screen TV's in the rooms too. .

I almost fell to the floor when I went down the next morning to use the fitness center. It looks like a Bally's, TV's on the treadmills, flatscreen's, free weights, new equipment and its twice the size as it was last time I was there.

I was hesitant to try and order a latte at their cafe, since they serve Starbucks, thinking it would definitely not taste right. Well I was wrong, I tried their special (Chocolate Carmel Late) and it was fantastic.

I'll definitely stay here anytime I'm in Philadelphia. GREAT JOB!
