This is my second time here. Quiet; rooms are nice and clean. Rather small and personalized hotel. No hoards of people but no hotel store, no big lobby. Bathroom works well- shower is great. Excellently located. Friendly staff. Quick check-in and check-out. Some trouble using the web-site reservation system. Executive lounge (available to all) is comfortable; breakfast is limitd but of good quality- good coffee. The restaurant: Monkey Bar is closed for renovations, but plenty of good restaurants within 150 yards. Hotel priced just right and also seems to price more evenly- without wild price swings according to occupancy, which I appreciate.

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Elysee in New York City for 2 nights and really loved it. We have 2 children ages 9 and 12. The rooms were kept meticulously clean and the hotel staff were very helpful with suggestions for dinner as well as providing great directions for getting around the city on the subway. A courteous and friendly hotel staff definitely makes one's stay more enjoyable.

The hotel is in a great location and convenient to everything. My wife and daughter caught a Broadway musical and my son and I caught the subway out to Yankee Stadium. Both very easy and convenient to get to from the hotel.

The hotel even had loaner umbrellas for guests to use since it did rain quite a bit while we were there. The complimentary breakfast included with our room was fantastic and one less thing to worry about during our stay.

We stayed in a suite and it was very spacious with luxurious amenities. The kids slept on the hide-away bed in the family room sofa while my wife and I slept peacefully in the nicely decorated bedroom. Although we did not have a chance to use the kitchen inside the suite due to our schedule while in town, we could have made a home-cooked meal right in our room had we wanted to.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to New York City, whether on vacation or business.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. The location was great. The check-in procedure was very efficient. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The club room was a real bonus as it provided a place to relax, with free coffee and snacks, overlooking the street without having to venture out into the Midtown crowds.

The only problem was that the hairdrier in the bathroom didn't work. We reported that to reception and a replacement was provided.

We have stayed here several times and we have never been disappointed. The rooms are large and this time we had a room with a beautiful outdoor patio. It's location is great. It's close to the theater district , great stores, and several subway lines. The staff is very friendly and professional. The complimentery continental breakfast is amazing. There are a large variety of fresh fruits, breads and cereals. this would cost $30 anywhere else. The same holds true for the wine and cheese every weekday evening. All of this in a lovely sitting area and library with free internet connections. My wife and I are already looking forward to our next stay there. This is simply a very charming and wonderful place to stay.
