My husband & I checked into the Harrah's on Wed, Sept 24. Besides the 45 minute wait to check in, the hotel was lovely.
We checked out on Thursday, Sept 25 and when we got home, we realized that we had left my husband's suit hanging on the connecting door (hubby placed it there so we wouldn't forget it when we left!). I called the lost and found department where I left a voice mail indicating the left item as well as sent them an email. Hubby called as well and then FOUR (4) days later we finally heard from a live person. They wanted all the info and receipts only to find out that there is nothing they can do as they are not responsible. I work in the hospitality industry and their lack of guest resolution or guest follow up is the worst I've ever experienced. Perhaps if someone had gotten back to us sooner, the suit would have been recovered.
We will NEVER stay at Harrah's or their affiliates again.

My boyfriend and another couple went to AC for a weekend for my boyfriends 21st birthday. The hotel itself was gorgeous. We loved everything about our room in the new towers and had a great time. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to friends/family. I am only 20 and so is my friends girlfriend that came along. The boys went gambling and we wanted to sit by the pool for the afternoon, well we could not because you have to be 21 to even enter the pool. That was annoying since it was just a pool. That was the only part about the hotel we did not enjoy. Otherwise its a great stay and worth the money!

Harrah's Resort and Casino, Atlantic City, NJ

Was a little apprehensive about going to Atlantic City, wanted to go to Las Vegas really but didn't want to travel that far. Need not have worried at all.

We flew from Manchester to Philadelphia and picked up a hire car at the airport. The drive was about 60 minutes and it was very easy to get about because the Hertz car had a free satelite navigation system on board.

We arrived at the hotel and it was just as good as the one in Las Vegas, we had a very large room and the hotel facilties were great. The hotel and casino were very busy most of the time but they are not used to Brits and don't really understand a word we say. It seems that Atlantic City is the playground for New Yorkers to gamble. Most of the staff were quite friendly but not as friendly as the staff in Las Vegas. Infact some were quite ignorant which shocked me. It was my second visit and I do plan to go back again next year.

Checked in late-night. The self parking lot is a world away from the front desk! Note to self: definitely valet next time. There was a long line of people ahead of us. Only 2 people working at the front desk. Very nice room on a high floor-large and clean. Could've had more towels in the bathroom. Didn't get to the gym but the indoor pool was very nice and relaxing- but a very long walk from our room. Very good deli off the casino floor. I definitely recommend and will return soon.
