I went to AC to see a show at the Borgata. Stayed at Harrah's for the better room rate. Despite some bad reviews, we had a great room located in the new towers location. The room looked new. Was very spacious and tidy. More upscale than a standard hotel room. Had room service for breakfast and the attendant was great.

Before our show, we had just a short 20-30 minute window for cocktails at the pool. Great remote for ordering drinks and food! It was pretty crowded at the pool, and you can't always find a waitress. The touch screen remote allowed us to browse the menu, order what we needed, and our server automatically arrived with our drinks and food in hand! We made it out of there with time to spare.

Can't say I found any restaurants in Harrah's that I wanted to go to. The buffet was lackluster. While in AC, we had a reservation at Bobby Flay's in the Borgata. Terrific steakhouse! One of the best ribeyes I've ever had. Truffle mashed potatoes are ridiculously good. Excellent service. Only negative was their chowder which I thought was under seasoned. I still highly recommend this place.

We will definitely be returning to the Harrah's in Atlantic city. We stayed in the new tower called " Waterfront tower" which just opened in july 2008. Our room was beautiful, very clean, nice color scheme, plasma tv, nice view at night of the city. The entire tower smelled fresh and new. We went to "Polistina's", which is the italian restaurant in the hotel. A little pricy but pretty good good and great service. The greatest part of the hotel is the new pool they added also along with the new waterfront tower. ITS AMAZING. You will feel like ur almost in Mexico. They have it all set up at the right temperature, palm trees all around, little cabanos with white drapes where you can lounge, 6 hot tubs all around the pool fitting from 4 people to 35 people. On certain nights, they even have a pool party which is pretty cool also. All in all, me and my boyfriend really enjoyed this stay. THe only thing we were not too happy with was the wait to eat at the Waterfront buffet. It was extremely long, also cuz they were prioritising the Diamond members first which sucks for us. Anyways, once you do get inside though, the food is great and a lot of selection!

My mother-n-law and her sister are two of the top members with Harrahs casinos/club, so we went with them for a trip...

The hotel part of Harrahs was beautiful. Staff very friendly and knowledgable of resort and surrounding areas.

The casino was also very nice....

We will deffinitly be returning soon!

I was fortunate enough (in the light of being a mere TR Gold Card holder) to receive an offer for up to 3 comped nights at any of the Harrah's properties in AC. I made the reservations with Harrah's, Resort, in the Marina, and arrived around noon on a Sunday. The checkin line had about 15 people in it, but there were 5 employees at the front desk, and the entire wait was less than 15 minutes.
As the room was comped, I was expecting to be put into the older tower, which would have been fine. The only request that was mentioned to the front desk staff was for as high of a room as possible please - no requests for specific views, or upgraded room. The staffmember proceeded to offer a choice of a waterview or a cityview on the 38th or 32 floor of the new Waterfront tower. I took the waterview, and was blown away with the room. A fabulous view out over the bay and marshlands, and a fantastic room to boot. The room, furnishings and bed were all first-rate.

Everyone I encountered at the hotel was friendly and professional, and the property is quite nice. The closest thing to an unhappy employee was a counter person at the food court who got a bit impatient with any kind of questions about the cost of their menu items, but if that's as bad as it gets, I'll live with it any day.

All in all Harrah's was a great stay, and I would go back there with no hesitation whatsoever. Highly recommended!!
