First of all, this is AC, so i thought either major $$$ or super dump. But this was right in the middle. WOW! the location / next to the tropicana. The room was clean and service was awesome. We called about the TV remote not working and they were there in 45 seconds to fix it! ALL the rooms have a fridge and microwave...so keep some cold ones in the room. I recommend staying on the BOARDWALK SIDE.. the other side was a little more shady and more hooker action.

I took a vacation to Atlantic City for the first time on August 19th. We stayed 3 nights at the Econo Lodge Beach Block. When we first arrived it was raining like cats and dogs. The woman behind the front desk was very nice. She gave us advice on where to have dinner..... When we arrived to our room it was very very clean and smelled like air fresher. The bathroom looked as if it had just been renovated. I even told my boyfriend that the linen smelled "too clean" :o). The room had a Microwave which was clean and a fridge which was also very clean. Let me be honest..... I didn't expect this hotel to be this nice but to my surprise it was. I will stay at this hotel again. It was located less than a minute tfrom the board walk and the Tropicana hotel. If you don't want to drive, the Jutiney stops right infront of the hotel.

I always stay in this hotel its clean, service is excellent, staff is polit and always willing to help. I try to stay there each time I go to AC. I recommend everyone to stay there.

Booked last minute on econolodge got a pretty good deal for a Friday night. Arrived just before midnight and was very well greeted. Room was nice, clean & simple. Had a nice microwave, fridge & coffee maker with 2 packs of coffee... didn't get to use them but is nice to have if staying for 2 nights or more. Free parking while staying, however, if you decide to hang around after checking out they only charge $9 for up to 8hrs, which we thought was definitely worth it. Would definitely stay here again.
