There was 4 of us on this trip. We were taking my mother who is 92 but is as active as a 60 year old. SHe loves to gable so we decided to go to Caesars Atlantic City. She also loves th beach so I wanted to get her a room with a view of the beach. I was told when booking the trip rooms are first come first serve but there was a chance of an upgrade. When we arrived and I tried to get upgrade (Willing to pay the difference for the room I wanted for my mother), I was told the rooms are never for sale, only for players. It really doesn't seem fair for a person willing to pay money for what they want, not to be able to get because they are not "Players".
Also, discovered that when waiters found out we were not big players, the service seemed to be not as good as it was when they greeted us at the table.
We spent on the average of $420.00 per nite for our room. The bathroom barely fits two people, No counter space to put toiletries. Hopefully you are a "player" and won't get stuck in the North Towers as we did. Was surpried to see we had a refrigerator in our room with NOTHING in it. For the money you spend, I think a few drinks and snacks would be nice. (we would have been glad to pay for it. (Maybe the refrigerator was empty because we were not "players"
Caesars is in a good location on the boardwalk, besides that...I wouldn't stay here unless your are a player.
Another suggestion, DO NOT CHECK IN ON SUNDAYS. The check in line was out of the door in the lobby. There was well over 100-150 people waiting to check in. Of course, if you are a player, the VIP take scare of you in minutes
