I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend. The place was ok. The location was not great at all. It says 2 blocks from ballys, trump and caesars but that is not true at all. And trust me-i'm young and atheletic and it was not 2 blocks at all. Its about two blocks from the beach, but its down far in a bad section of atlantic city. We walked over about 6 blocks to ballys and went on the beach there. I have to say though that the hotel was average-clean and did its job for the night. However for what i spent $210 with tax on expedia was not worth it at all. The casino hotels were $350 and up. But looking back i may have spent the extra hundred and a half and stayed at trump or caesars.
Outside the best western was a 7-11, pawn shops etc. The good thing was there was jitney stop right outside the hotel-take that for 2 bucks and it will drop you off at any hotel/casino you want.
Bally's is the closest casino hotel to the best western-about 6 blocks. I enjoyed trump and caesars which is even further (figures!) and the outlets in front of caesars were awesome! We got a couples massage at Ballys which was great-the spa facility was fabulous.
I could have spent the same amount as i spent here at the days inn which is on the boardwalk and has beach front rooms with balconies, Its by the tropicana. By Ballys there is the Econo Lodge, it has a small pool as well, i would have stayed there instead too. Don't get me wrong if the price is a steal i would stay here again-but if the days inn, econo lodge etc is the same prce i'd stay there.
