Spent one night with my fiancee here at the Best Western Envoy
because all hotels in Atlantic City were booked till Monday.
Pleasant surprise! Nice hospitality at the front desk, nice clean room,
nice elevator and free newspaper, all in all a very pleasant experience!
Please note: Heat was off in the room, and must be turned on by pushing
a button on the radiator. In room safe, refrigerator, television etc etc.
There is a seven-eleven convenience store next to the motel for any needs you might have, and a jitney bus picks you up in front of the hotel
for $1.50 you can go anywhere in either direction of Atlantic City.
Sands and the Claridge-Bally's-Caesar's Hotel complex is walking distance from this motel. A nice coffee shop, Perry's, is across the street at the Howard Johnson's. Boardwalk is a long block away. This motel is a fine alternative if other hotels are full. Parking lot is in front of motel. As I don't gamble, for the curious this is a great location. I found the Boardwalk air in Atlantic City a very nice feeling to breathe. See my other reviews on tips for places to see and things to do in AC. overall, a ***** motel and well worth the designation. Safe, secure, friendly, well run, spotless.
