We spent a long romantic weekend at this hotel. It was our first experience of Paris and the hotel, it's ambiance, and especially it's friendly and reliable staff - who were very helpful at making bookings and giving information, really made it a stay to remember.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a short stay in Paris. It is ideally located within easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysse, and Place de la Concorde.

Rooms are much larger than those normally experienced in Paris and have air conditioning. They have high ceilings, large windows overlooking the park or garden, and they are nicely decorated.

The area around the hotel has many excellent bistros and cafes ranging in price. We recommend Bistro in the 7eme, but the bistro overlooking Les Invilades was very very expensive (£19 for a coffee, an orange juice, and a large amaretto !!).

Well done to the hotel team !! We will return !!

The rooms at this hotel are full of great touches. Our room had fresh flowers every day, bathrobes and slippers, champagne and a plate of cookies; the bathroom had a heated towel rack, a shower and a separate tub. It is extremely clean! The location is excellent and you will find lots of places to choose for dinner within walking distance. Service was friendly and very helpful. The area is very peaceful, you will not be woken up by street noise. We will be staying here everytime we visit Paris.

We spent three nights in the hotel, and found it very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, the bedroom was quiet (on an inner courtyard) and the bed was firm and comfortable.

Some extra shelves would have been useful in the bathroom, idem extra cupboard space in the bedroom.

Excellent breakfast with a lot of choice.

The hotel is well situated next to a metro stop, and not far from a good bus route. There is a good choice of restaurants in the district (but don't bother with the one on the corner opposite the metro!).

The special offer rate this month was very reasonable. We should like to return to this hotel.

“Definitely coming back.”

Hotel de Latour Maubourg

Jul 20, 2008

My husband and I had a 3 night stay in July. Our only regret is that it wasn't much longer. We have stayed in a wide variety of accommodation over the last 4 months, and this hotel was amongst the best. Friendly and helpful staff become very important when you are away from home for a long time, and the staff here were excellent. I support all previous comments re charming decor, cleanliness, plentiful and varied breakfast, guest lounge and quirky little courtyard, great location near metro and major sights, and good nearby restaurants.
We treated ourselves to the suite on the top floor, with an enormous bathroom, but looking at the rooms the next price level down, it would appear they are equally as spacious, with standard size bathrooms.
I too would prefer doonas and bigger pillows.
We usually like to try different hotels on return visits, but when returning to Paris, will look no further than the La Tour Maubourg.

“Great little hotel!”

My wife, two teenage daughters and I just completed a 4 night stay at this hotel. I lived in Paris years ago, and have stayed at several small hotels closer to the Isle de la Cite. I found this hotel on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! It was the best yet, especially for the money. When all three girls in my house are pleased, it must be good!

The hotel was quite charming and comfortable. The staff went out of its way to help in every way. They arranged a car to pick us up at the airport and booked two restaurant reservations in advance. They also gave us a street-level map to help with directions to find one restaurant, provided umbrellas for the one day it rained, and brought us forks one day when we brought back pastries to eat in their courtyard.

The metro stop directly across from the hotel is a great plus for Paris, as was the convenience to the RER (commuter train) that saved time for several destinations. Rue Cler is just down the street, and we found a couple of great restaurants within an easy walk (Chez L'Ami Jean and Pasca). I'd definitely suggest this hotel to anyone.
