The raves from other travelers are completely warranted. The rooms are small but the fittings are modern and the bed was excellent. The twin brothers who own/run the hotel -- who have been in the hotel business for 37 years -- are considerate, professional and fun.

The location is good (Pimlico and Victoria tube stations are no more than a ten-minute walk), and there are excellent restaurants nearby. I especially recommend Solo Mio, the Italian trattoria a half-block away and Seafresh, a fish restaurant about two blocks away.

I paid 90 pounds a night, full price, including English breakfast and wi-fi (which drifted in and out). In London these days, that's a STEAL!

The only (minor) criticism I have is that breakfast is served only from 7-8:30am.

I can only add to all the positive reviews of Luna & Simone. We stayed for five days from August 28th 2008.

The hotel is in a great location - walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Parliament/Big Ben etc or for those less used to walking catch bus 24. Walking distance from Victoria Station (we paid £3.40 for a taxi when we arrived with suitcases), nearby is a great Sainsburys, Boots (chemist) etc.

We had a twin room on the ground floor and it was impeccable. It was simple, clean, comfortable and had a tv (5 channels - inc BBC1, ITV, Five, Dave), kettle for making tea or coffee, a safe. The bathroom was small but really clean and nice.

We were able to access free wireless internet through the hotel (ask at reception for the password). I know some people have reported not being able to get wireless in all parts of the hotel but we had no trouble at all.

Breakfast was fab! There are three choices - bacon, eggs and baked beans or boiled eggs or ham and tomato. You can also have cornflakes or OJ and all breakfasts come with toast and tea or coffee. The dining area was incredibly clean.

Our hosts were friendly and helpful - as so many others have reported.

All in all I give our stay 10/10. For the price I dont think you can do any better in London.

The family that runs this hotel treats you like your are in their personal home. Friendly, always willing to help out with information and recommendations to maximime our stay, cheerful during breakfast and all around a clean, warm (we were there during the Christmas holiday) comfortable and friendly. We will always stay here when we are in London!
