We have been to Passion Island twice now, once in Jan '07 and in June '07. It is the best excursion in all six cruises we have ever been on. Hugo, our guide, is the BEST! We had as much fun as we could possibly fit into 3 short hours. It needs to be longer!!!!

My husband and I were on our first cruise (Carnival) for our 25th Anniversary in August of 2006 and Cozumel was the first port. We booked the Jeep tour and boat ride to Passion Island and it was fantastic. The Jeep ride was only about 20-25 minutes and the boat ride about 15 minutes. Beautiful beach and great food. Very relaxing. We had no one bother us about souveniers and a person from Carnival was there to take photos but was not intrusive. Our guide, Chris, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We talked with him for at least an hour and got a wonderful perspective of life there. I would go back in a heartbeat.

We did the Isla de Pasion as an excursion on our Carnival Conquest cruise in May 2007. It was just my husband and I and it was the most wonderful day! Our guide, Alex, was outstanding - so funny and so accomodating. After a bus and boat ride, we arrived at the island to enjoy all you can eat buffet and drinks on a gorgeous remote island! What more can you ask for? They say some Corona commercials were filmed here, and you could definitely see why!

The food was delicious, the fish and guacamole were out of this world. The coronas kept coming and coming. The beach itself was so pristine and clean. Beautiful little huts for shade and tons of chairs. The water was crystal clear and warm. There were maybe 60 people on the entire island and it was so quiet and relaxing. The staff on the island were very friendly and always seemed to be having fun themselves.

We bought a couple tshirts and a magnet and the guy who sold it to us was very nice. Not pushy at all. There were other guys trying to get you to come look at what they were selling, but if you said a simple "No thanks" they wouldn't bother you again.

We had a fabulous day here and would definitely come back again!

I took the love of my life(Candice) and my two daughters, Samantha & Taylor (11&16) on their first cruise. Too see the smiles on their faces was priceless. Our excursion included driving a jeep through the jungle(I highly recommend) then taking a small boat to the island. We saw crocidiles on the bay side of the island and thought OH NO!! When you get to the other side of the island, WOW!!! Beautiful!!! Our guide on the excursion, his name was Leo, was absolutely wonderful to be around.
