Opal and Mau operate a personable dive shop. The equipment was clean and our divemaster changed up our adventures for every dive. Very knowledgeable of every reef, wall, and creature. Diving with Scuba Mau was definitely one of the best things we did during our trip to the Riviera Maya. Since the first day we arrived at the shop we were welcomed as close friends. Everybody worked hard to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Opal managed to coordinate my diving course with Mau, the dives at the different reefs in which I participated with my mother and father, and snorkeling for my younger sister in an incredible way. Mau on top of being a very calm and good person, he was very patient with me at every moment of my course, and a very good Dive Master. He managed to make me love diving. Denis, the snorkel instructor was also very kind to we all, and guided and protected my sister through all the reefs giving her lessons of the under water life. On top of this, one of the two incredible Dive Masters that also work in Scuba Mau went with my parents during the dives, they were Monkey or Pumba, who both make us enjoy our boat trips in a special way. We were told that there was other Dive Master as good as the others called Gaby, but we didn’t managed to meet him. It is also important to mention the captain Orlando, who took us everywhere, and his boat “Gaviota”. I certainly can say we had a wonderful time with all the crew at the shop, under water and even on the shore during the first and second tank, eating local fruits and water. It was an incredible experience and I’m longing to repeat it.

I went scuba diving with Scuba Mau and it was the good choice. The whole team is made of experienced divemasters ready to provide you the best dives. Mau and Opal are fantastic, always making sure you have the best time. The scuba diving equipment is in excellent shape and the service is personalized. These people are completely passionate and know well the coast. However in case you have any preferences, you just have to ask. We had the boat for us most of the time, and we dived in insane beautiful spots: among caves, long stretches in opal water, coral banks. We saw turtles, small, large fishes and even some sharks, it was an amazing show. One of our friends also got certified and completely loved it. We really enjoyed our dives with ScubaMau.
