This was one of the most fun and thrilling experiences of my life, and I'm a middle-aged woman with a terrible fear of heights!
No need to repeat what so many others have written already, but I want to note I was very hesitant and nervous about doing this, but decided to go ahead and give it a try, along with my sister and 11-year-old neice. I'm so glad I did! The worst part was climbing up the spiral staircase to the first zip. Oh, no, I thought, I'm not going to be able to do this. But once I rode the first line, my fears were replaced with elation, joy and confidence! I can do this! I couldn't believe how much fun and how easy and comfortable this was.
Yes, stepping off some of the ledges was a bit intimidating and stomach-lurching, and I admit I didn't look down on many of the rides, but these zip lines feel surprisingly safe, smooth and solid ... they never felt dangerous, uncomfortable or alarming to me. The views are fabulous, landings are smooth and easy, and the guys who work here are all adorable, handsome, funny and a real joy to be around.
I cannot rave enough about this experience. The drive there in the bus was gorgeous and an adventure in itself, along the coastline, past waterfalls and through the mountains.
I'll sum up my recommendation in three words: Go, go, go!
