Ok I stayed here two years ago and had an good time and expected the same this time.

1st the positives.

1) ROOMS - the rooms are nice, not 4 star but if your looking for something extra they have mirrors over the tub and bed. cd radio and plently of space for clothes and a lock box to secure your items. The air is awesome and always cold.

2) The resort has several bars and two resturants for you to choose from but you have to make reservation a day in advance however, it was VERY dead at the resort and I made resverations the same day. the staff is very nice and will help you in any way. the pools are nice but nit deep at all.

3) booking activities outstide the resorts was great. no issues at all. the Spa was nice and an added touch to a long day of horseback riding.

4) activites at night are all that well if your open to anything. the crazy dressing running around with no clothes on.

The negative

1) IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE BEACH do not stay here it is very small and surrounded by rocks I knew this the last time but I am not a big beach person.

2) the food was not good at all. just average. worst than my last stay. the jamaican spot in the back needs improvement. that was not jerk chickern, if you want real jerk chicken go to scothies down the street from the resort., I go everytime I am there. and Jamacia food has so much to offer the resort needs to display that.

3) the activites were poor. Nothing much going on during the day at all. especially at the prude pool. the activity area needs to be updated the big screen tv does not work they have a smaller tv siting on top of the big screen. and the pool table in the pool is a mess.

4) where is the jammin music during the day,. It was always low and very low key at the resort not full of laugther and fun. and jammin music.

This was our 4th trip to Hedo III. In a nutshell it's like we return home every year. Leave the rat race and your inhibitions behind. This is the ultimate clothing optional vacation hotspot.

You will fall in love with the staff. And you'll leave wanting to take your personal favorites home with you. Serena, Carleene, and Cadian...we'll see ya'll next year! They take such good care of you and are so willing to go above and beyond that it amazes you.

The food is amazing. From local dishes to Italian or Japanese, you just can't lose. The Japanese restaraunt Munasan is our personal favorite. We ate there three times this trip.

All three pools are designed for fun and relaxation. Although I do wish they would heat the pools at night. The water can get very chilly around midnight or later.

Activities abound! From water sports to the most amazing and creative entertainment coordinators you'll ever meet. And every night is a different theme. It's almost like an adult Halloween party every night! The disco and the piano bar are the hotspots of the evenings, but don't miss the live shows put on by the entertainment coordinators.

My husband and I wil be returning next year in August and probably every year after next. See ya'll there!

This was our first trip to Jamaica and we thought it was great!! We weren't 100% sure what to expect from Hedo, but read enough reviews to have a pretty good idea. We were pleasantly surprised by the resort. The property is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming!! The rooms were nice, but need to be updated a bit. I was surprised at how nice the bathrooms were... There were mirrors on the ceiling above the tub and bed. The offer satellite TV with most movie channels and few dirty channels as well. It did take 3 days to get our phone fixed, but that was the phone company and not the resort...

We though the food was good. You have your choice of the buffet three times a day, an Italian restaurant, Jamaican restaurant, and a Japanese restaurant. The buffet is good... Breakfast is the same everyday... fried potatoes, bacon, sausage, pancakes, made to order omelets, fruit, and some Jamaican dishes (not really breakfast food) thrown into the mix. Lunch is your standard American lunch buffet with a few Jamaican dishes, and a good salad bar. Dinner at the buffet has prime rib, lamb, pork, and limited Jamaican dishes, great desserts, salad bar..ect It's all good, but tends to get old if you are there very long.
The Italian place is great!! We were expecting a low budget olive garden, but were very surprised!! Lamb Chops, stuffed chicken with procuitto....great!!! The Japanese place is your standard Japanese steakhouse..good...

The bars are nice with great fruity frozen drinks.. Only downside is the only beer they have is red stripe and no Bombay Sapphire or top shelf vodka... (my favs) Oh well... I made do and all turned out okay..

The spa is nice.. Best deep tissue massage ever!!!! The pedicures aren't like home.. no big fancy chairs and it's pretty basic, but my toes did look nice..

Entertainment crew is great!! They really try to get guest involved.. They give away bottles of rum at all of their games. The theme parties were something to see...We went while there were a few groups there so they participated in everything. The piano bar is a lot of fun... The waterslide is super fast and a must do!!
Watersports are included such as glassbottom boat rides, hobie boats, snorkeling, kayaks....ect

We met the nicest people while on our trip (guest and employees) Great couples who come there every year to get away from reality. The resort is what you make of it! If you go there with a closed mind you probably won't have a good time. We stayed in the clothing optional side of the resort and had a blast.. The nude side is wild and crazy and people seem to love it!! There are swingers in the mix as well (that's not our bag) but you don't feel pressured to do anything you don't want to do... Go there and have a good time!!!!! We will be back...

have been to hedo the past 2 years with love voodoo in november! this year it is 3rd time a charm. we love this resort and would come again. just wish that the resort would really have a "past customer discount" or something to show a little thanks for being a good customer. oh well, we love the place and plan to go again and again see you in a few months! hey, drop us a line! fitzgerm25@comcast.net
