“Great place”

Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort

Sep 27, 2008

We had a great studio suite; clean and comfortable. The resort is well attended to; the staff very friendly and always willing to provide great service. It was our first trip to a Divi Resort; all the people we met come back there year after year. Some have been coming every year for 12-15 years and stay for multiple weeks. I would recommend renting a car. The island is very interesting to ride around. There does not seem to be a road map in existence. It is very hard to find recommended restaurants. You had to depend on people for directions. Once you found your restaurant, the food would be wonderful. A couple of restaurants we found great were Flying Fishbones and Madame Janette. Food in Aruba is expensive even if you go to the super market to buy. Two small bags of groceries cost us about $68. We cooked breakfast in the room most mornings and fixed sandwiches for lunch. We ate out at dinner. We had a great time. We beaches are very blue and beautiful. I would recommend this resort to anyone wanting a relaxing beach vacation.

Second trip to Aruba, first time staying at Divi. We were in the golf villas near the pool, great 1BR unit. Unit was clean & everything was in good condition.Plenty of room & a short walk to the pool & swim/up bar. Muligan's restaurant (great lunch & dinner) was a 3 minute walk. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly & helpful. The grounds were well kept & clean.

“Great Visit to Divi Village in Aruba”

Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort

Sep 17, 2008

This was my second trip to Aruba, and I enjoyed this one as much as the first. I got back just last week and I had such a great trip. It was the perfect combo of luxury and fun.

Everyone was so nice at Divi and the weather was fabulous. Where I stayed was basically a one bedroom apartment. It had a full kitchen, two full baths, a living room with flat screen television and sofa, and a good sized bedroom. There was a great view of the golf course and the lake and the pool was just steps away.

The really cool thing though was that I booked this all-inclusive special that they have right now. Kids and golf are free. (Although I went alone this trip for a little me time!) And with the package, I was able to eat at any of the restaurants at the Divi Aruba or the Tamarijn just across the street!

I also ate at the Village's own restaurant called Mulligan's, which is right on the golf course. I had the yummiest waffles for breakfast every morning. There's a beautiful fine dining restaurant called Windows at the Village too. (But that's not included in the all-inclusive package). I had a really delicious dinner one night and the view offered a panorama of the golf course.

All I had to do if I wanted to go to the beach was walk across the street or call for the golf cart style shuttle. I had a very nice massage at the spa and enjoyed live music at dinner and a fun DJ at the bar at night all at the partner resorts. I loved the variety I could have all around.

I would totally go back and definitely recommend it to friends. My room was sparkling. The service was excellent. The resort was central to everything. And I finally got the rest and relaxation I was after! Next time I might even bring the family...

We stayed at the Divi Golf and Beach Resort for our honeymoon! The resort was wonderful. Beautiful views and wuick 5minute walk to the beach. I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the ease of not having to wait in line for anything.

Windows on Aruba and Mulligans were awesome and very affordable. The service was excellent and the food amazing. We made a reservation but there was no need. We were practically the only couple in the resturant. Mullignas is a really nice place to eat for lunch. Great pizza. There are not any windows so if you go in mid afternoon on a very humid day, it could get a little incomfortable. The TV's at the bar were nice but the quaility was not very good (we're spoiled with HD :-)).

The actual unit was nice. The showers were a little small and needs a little bit work. The 2nd bathroom did have a mildew smell but it wasn't that obvious. Rooms were nice and spaciaous and overlooked the pool. Check out our photos of the views we had from out unit. Most people do not know that there are private hot tubs on the very top of floor. There is a gril up there as well.

We took advantage of the Indulgance by the Sea at the Dutch Village. Between that and the Sunset Dinner Sail, it was the best part of our honeymoon. The massage therapists were the great. They offer you a warm footbath before your session begins. They also offer you a glass of wine or water. We did a massage and the Rose Indulgance Body Scrub. Both were awesome!

We really enjoyed the friendly staff who were always accomodating. The best part about the resort is that they have golf carts to take you between the 3 or 4 resorts that are a part if the Divi Links. They will also take you to a pick-up/drop off point for the grocery store.

The only downside about the resorts are if you are not a part of the all-inclusive, then your would not be able to partake in any of the resort activities. You can't even pay for it. We wanted to snorkel or get a water lounger to just lay in water and we were denied b/c you have to be an all inclusive witht he wrist band.

We truly enjoyed our experience at the Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort. If you have any questions about the resort or about Aruba in general, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be more than happy to share our experince with you.

We stayed at The Divi (Tam) in 2003. As usual we fell for the guided tour of thier new resort, The Divi Golf Links. Well needless to say it was one of the best things that ever happened to my wife and I ! The rooms were georgous- the pool was beautiful-the restaraunts wrer terriffic-the service was outstanding-all the ammenities were a big bonus !! We ended up buying a Timeshare at that resort and it's been like a piece of heaven every year that we go there! I would advise anyone to vacation there wether it be for any reason-Honeymoon-Aniversery-or just to relax and have a good time. THIS RESORT HAS IT ALL--CLEAN EVERYTHING-GREAT NIGHT LIFE-GREAT FOOD-GEORGEOUS GOLF COUSE-BEAUTIFUL POOL AND BEACH-TENNIS COURTS-WEIGHT ROOM-COMPUTER ROOM. It has everything and everything is top notch. My wife and I will be in Aruba at the Divi Golf and Beach resort every year for the next 35 years.(God willing).
