My mum is travelling to Australia for 10 weeks later this year and would like to take out travel insurance. She will be aged 69 years when she travels. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Join YHA www.yha.com.au or equivalent in UK. Reciprocal agreements. YHA have travel insurance. 25% off. Or choose own in UK. Unfortunately a neccessity as baggage does stray, flights do get cancelled, accidents do happen just at the wrong time. Of course wee hope that something does not happen, but if it does it can be an expensive exercise without some kind of insurance to compensate.
