This is my 5th or 6th time staying at this particular hotel... but the first time in several months since they did some renovations to the place. Last time I stayed here I was not in "the tower" and felt a little bit as if I were staying in a motel rather than a Doubletree. I don't like hotels with... more

My main motivation in staying here was to be near a decent place to jog and swim laps while on business. The golf course/park across the street provided a good place for the former, with a 3 mile loop around the golf course, while the nearby year-round Edith Ball pool was excellent for the latter. I asked the front desk... more

The Doubletree was always the classic big in-town hotel in Tucson in the 70s and 80s. We can recall many wedding parties, graduations, and other memorable events there. We had not stayed there for ages, and were pleasantly surprised to see how nice and clean and new everything is today. The room was spotless and obviously newly refurbished. The place... more

Traveling with a pet doesn't always leave you many options so my family and I were happy to see that the double tree accepted pets. Check in was quick and we got a free warm cookie! After checking in we were told that pets were only accepted in the back rooms behind the high-rise building. As we drove to the... more

My wife and I used priceline to book a summer night here for her birthday and we had a great time. The pool was nice and the bed was very comfortable. They also gave us warm cookies when we checked in which is a small perk. Everything went great until we looked at our credit card statement the next week... more

I chose this hotel because of the location and the reviews I found on Trip Adviser. I was very happy with the stay, and I'll defintely come back next time I come to Tucson. The check in stafff were very curtious and I love the chocolate chip cookie that they give you upon check in. My bathroom was missing some... more

I'll start with the positives: very friendly and professional staff, nice pool, decent restaurant. The downside: inconvenient location, bathroom mildew I wouldn't choose this location again. I drove approx. 30 miles to find shopping. Didn't realize how out of the way this was. more

I was pleased with the Doubletree Reid Park. The hotel was in a great location, nice pool area, it was very clean and quiet with comfortable beds...and it was priced right. They have computers with printers for the guests to use, that was very helpful for our online flight check-in. The only complaints I have are that they shut the... more

We stayed there twice during a 2 week period in FEB. First arrived and stayed in the Casitas. Smelled like tobacco. The Casitas had big rooms but had all the charm of a hospital waiting room. One of the managers moved us to the "Tower" which is a fancy way of saying the main building. There were 7 of us... more

I stayed at the this Double tree on business in December and was very satisfied. Service was friendly, location great, nice pool/workout room, and I like that I can have a drink in a hotel bar and read (and not be bombarded with loud, obnoxious music). This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and will recommend that, if you... more
