I have to admit that reading some of these reviews made me hesitant to stay here, but since I was traveling with a group, I thought it would be best to be a "trooper" and not book a room at the nearest Ritz or Four-Seasons, as these are the hotels I typically frequent. My entire stay at The Wyndham was... more

We had stayed at this hotel last year as well. I was pleasantly suprised to see that the rooms had been very nicely renovated. The rooms were much nicer than last year. The room even had a flat-screen TV. Would definetly stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a moderately priced hotel in downtown Atlanta. more

First of all, the rooms have been renovated, and the beds are comfortable. Other than that, I would not come back here if it were the last place on Earth. The hallways are disgusting (we walked through soaking wet carpets, no air conditioning in the hallways, low ceilings, it's like a bad Motel 6 in the middle of the ghetto... more

Pros: Walking distance to attractions, like World of Coca Cola, GA Aquarium, etc. Comfortable beds. Concession in the lobby has decent coffee and pastries. Cons: Room was not made up one night out of 4 and had to beg for replacement towels when none were left in room. Front desk staff very nonchalant - didn't want to produce an itemized... more

This property is twenty times nicer than it's sister property, the Baymont Inn and Suites, which is located on the same premesis, and is managed by the same company. The Wyndham has indoor corridors, smells clean, has comfortable beds and is accessible only through the lobby. However, the fact remains that it is still in an economically challenged area about... more

I stayed at this hotel for a professional conference. So I didn't have to pay out of my pocket, I still am a decision maker on the finances of the agency. And from where I sit, the agency wasted money on this venue. Above and beyond, the staff was exceptional. Thats the only good thing about the place. $155.00 a... more

I went to Atlanta so I can compete at Nationals for DECA a Marketing/Business club for students and was originally to stay at the Beautiful Westin Hotel at Peachtree Plaza in Down Town Atlanta. Down Town Atlanta was struck by a tornado a month prior my trip to Atlanta and the Westin received lots of damage and I had to... more

Great Stay at this newly renovated hotel. The lobby is currently under renovation (this was well disclosed in advance on both the hotel website and booking confirmation) but other than that everything else appears brand new. After quick checkin with no wait, I received a room on the sixth floor with a nice view facing the city, and everything in... more

Hotels.com shows the renovation to be complete by 2/29/08. So I booked for the 25-27 figuring it would be near completion with little mess. WRONG! The lobby and restaurant aren't even near completion...I think they got the year wrong!!!!!!!!!!. Desk people weren't friendly, seemed foggy, oh wait....that was the dust and debris flying off the jack-hammer...no kidding!!!! Room is nice.... more

I was a little nervous when I checked into the hotel and saw all the construction around the lobby area. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. The bed was wonderful, there was a large flatscreen tv, and the desk and couch area was spacious. The bathroom had a small countertop, but was otherwise nice. My fiancée... more
