We stayed at the GHS on the last night of our two week trip out west. I had high hopes for the hotel from the TA writeups and it did not disappoint. Following the tips posted earlier, we booked a corner suite. What a spectacular view of the city and the automatic blinds are certainly cool. I loved the room.... more

My husband and I arrived a day early for our cruise to Alaska. I tried to find a centralized hotel where everything would be within walking distance of the hotel. We were greeted outside the hotel by very friendly hotel staff. The simple expression by the hotel staff to greet me by my name is well worth my visit. The... more

I am a frequent visitor to Seattle and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grand Hyatt. The hotel is in a superb location across from Pacific Place, the rooms are excellent (stayed in Exec suite which was very spacious and comfortable) and the staff were attentive when needed. Also, the gym is very well equipped and free to use for... more

I was in Seattle for a conference at the Convention Center. The hotel was fabulous. Very atttentive staff, clean rooms, very nice lobby. Ruth's Chris lobby restaurant was great. The gym was very nice and updated. The hot tub, sauna and steam room were awesome. The convention center was only 1 block away. more

This hotel is beautiful! Elegant decor, very quiet, upscale, with attentive staff who seemed genuinely interested in your stay. Rooms were large with granite countertops, separate bath and shower, truly exquisite furnishings. We had a lovely view of the bay and the Tower. The hotel is one block from convention center, surrounded by incredible shopping and restaurants, and within walking... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. Before arrival, the concierge e-mails and offers to help with any needs you may have. I had him make dinner reserevations at Ruth's Chris and The Georgian at the Fairmont . He e-mailed me the reservations. At check in, we were informed that we were upgraded to a King Corner Suite... more

Flying into SEATAC, I purchased previously online a roundrip ticket for the Grayline Airporter. You catch the downtown bus at door 00. The large bus drops you right off in front of the Grand Hyatt on 7th and picks you up there as well. Since my business was near downtown, I did not need a auto rental. My check in... more

I stay at this hotel each year, and am always so impressed with the consistency of excellent staff! They are so hospitable and friendly, from the moment you arrive to the hotel you feel right at home. The only thing I wasn't really impressed with was the Concierge. I had asked for a place that might still serve breakfast after... more

Location of the hotel is awsome. Everything downtown is walkable, and if it's raining they have umbrellas you may borrow from your room. No need for a car really if you are there for only a few days. Staff is wonderful! I was in a corner room on a lower floor but my view was still wonderful. The bathrooms are... more

My wife and I, along with our 2 year old daughter, travel to Seattle frequently for short 2 or 3 day visits. We have tried many hotels and have finally decided that we can't do any better than the Grand Hyatt. We usually get a Corner Suite or an Emerald Suite. I'll admit that it's a bit pricey, but we're... more
