We had a room on the 5th floor. The free WIFI didn't reach and/or didn't work in our room. With so many people needing WIFI the computer in the lobby was constantly in use and you had to wait in line to use it or give up. WIFI was spotty in the lobby, too. The shuttle service is spotty at... more
The Comfort Inn was not that great. The pillows were horrible, the bed was worse, the breakfast was a joke, if you could even get to it because the room is so small. Staff wasn't overly friendly. Place was clean enough, and close enough to all the stuff, we could walk everywhere (but we like to walk). I don't think... more
Spent one night in Philly en-route from Washington to New York and found the hotel to be a very decent hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff, who were very accommodating when arriving a few hours before check in time. The room itself was a fair size and clean. In simple terms, it was the sort of hotel room you would expect... more
I had been to Philly only two times before. Once while in middle school and again to take my kids to the X games. This past weekend I stayed in town from Friday till Monday. It was the best weekend I have ever had. The locals were extremely friendly. From the parking lot attendant to the ladies at the frontdesk... more
This was a very nice hotel for the price. The location is a little out of the way, but a free shuttle service is provided, making getting around extremely easy. The room was huge and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and knowledgable, there is a reasonably priced parking lot there, and the breakfast was decent. more
After reading some of the reviews on this site, I was prepared for a bad experience, but after actually seeing the hotel, I was pleasantly suprised. The room was clean and the staff were nice and somewhat knowlegable. It is true that the hotel was a bit out of the way but the complementory shuttle made up for that. The... more
Hotel is located within walking distance to historic area and Dave and Busters (across the street). Its about a $10-12 cab ride to the bars of Philly. (we were visiting for St. Paddy's Day). Hotel staff was VERY friendly and very helpful. I would recommend it for weekend trips. more
I gave this hotel a 4 out of 5 rating because of the price, location, and staff. It was clean, safe, quiet, and the onsite parking ($21 per day) was very convenient. The room was larger than I expected but the bathroom was really quite small. We stayed on the 10th floor and had a great view of the river... more
My family and I stayed at this hotel for one night in September. We stayed in Room 810. It wasn't until we got home that I noticed several red marks on my body. My doctor said it was from bed bug bites. I contacted the hotel management who refunded half of the room price. However, we managed to bring some... more
