Just returned from a business/vacation in San Diego. Hyatt was the worst 4 star hotel I have ever stayed at. Stayed 9/1 thru9/7, 3 days didn't get coffee to make in the "one" cup coffee machine and one day didn't get any coffee cup(paper). I have stayed in a 1 star hotel and had a full pot coffee maker. Vanity... more

We spent whole week in this hotel and although our room was nice and clean and hotel staff was rather friendly I think we won’t choose this hotel again as we find it overpriced and really oriented to business people or big party groups. more

I was staying at this facility for a conference. My husband decided to come along at the last minute and wanted to bring his boat, which is trailored behind our massive truck. I called the hotel the day before asking if parking would allow for this. The woman I spoke with said, just come, we will figure it out. Well... more

Hotel is conveniently located- right off highway. About 20 minutes to downtown with no traffic. Close to the beautiful La Jolla Cove- which is worth seeing. Rooms are large- very clean. Amenities are as advertised- the pool is nice. Did not eat at the hotel- 4 nice restaraunts right across the street. Parking is a rip off- there is free... more

The hotel is right off the freeway, so quick access to the San Diego area. Nice hotel, clean, updated. The room was spacious. The pool area is wonderful, just wish that it was open later than 10PM. The only complaints were that the walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. We were... more

Great stay at this hotel. Nice location and easy accessilble. The staff were awesome and very accommodating. We only stayed 2 nights, but it was worth it. The bathrooms I found a little small but in all I thought the hotel did a great job for us. We will likely be back if back in this area. more

We just had a wonderful stay at this Hyatt! We used Hyatt Passport rewards (my husband's business travel perks) to book a standard room with a king-sized bed. But when we arrived, my husband told the staff it was our anniversary and asked for any complimentary upgrades that might be available. We were assigned to a beautiful suite, maybe 1200... more

We contracted with the Hyatt Regency to be our official wedding hotel, and they did a wonderful job. Many of our guests mentioned to me that the staff was welcoming, professional, and classy overall. It's really says a lot when your friends and family are making unsolicited compliments on your choice of hotel -- no kidding, we heard from many... more

Let me start off by saying this this is a nice-lookng hotel. Good-looking rooms, restaurants and lobbies. But overall, I am a value-oriented traveller and my stay at the Hyatt La Jolla left me disappointed. I stayed in a standard room booked through a corporate training facility that my employer uses. Rate was $225 a night for 5 nights. The... more

The Hyatt La Jolla is a wonderful option for San Diego business and leisure visitors alike. The service is top-notch, as is usually in Hyatt hotels - the staff is helpful, courteous, and friendly. The rooms are nice, with comfortably beds, but housekeeping only changes the sheets every three days and doesn't bother to re-tuck the bottom sheets, so on... more
