This hostel is very good. However, the location isnt the best for sightseeing in San Diego. Its located a 15 min bus ride outside downtown San Diego. I enjoyed this hostel very much. When I checked in, a staff member gave me a friendly tour and let me know that I could ask him for help if I needed anything or wanted information on the area. HI Point Loma is one of the best hostels I've seen in the US. As clean as any good hotel, the bathrooms lacked that "ick" factor so common in hostels. Stayed 3 nights at this Hostel and had a great time. Hostel is very well kept and clean. Nice tv, lounge area too. Do it yourself pancake breakfast was a nice treat as well.
