we arrived and thought this was an ok hotel until we realized the bedding smelled of men's cologne and low and behold we look under the bed and a used condom wrapper was laying there. When we told the staff including the night manager nobody apologised and they acted as if we were bothering them with something that was no... more

We stayed at the Midtown Hotel for 3 nights. Location is great - near shopping malls, 5 mins walk from a subway station, approx 25 mins walk to Boston Common and Downtown area. The outside of the building is really unattractive and the corridors are poorly lit with stained carpets so we didn't get a great first impression. However the... more

This was first stop on a touring holiday of New England/New York. It was on the whole, OK. No real complaints. No restaurant , but plenty of places round about and since we were a group, they put on breakfast for us. Again OK. There were certainly lots of places round about to sample the local delicacies such as Clam... more

This hotel is an overexpensive dive. The air doesn't cool the rooms as its on or off those are the two settings. The beds are old and uncomfortable, the decor came from the 70's, the pool had green mold all over the walls. I would not recommend this place to anyone. more

We stayed at The Midtown Hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of September and I can't fault the property. It was easy to locate from the T stops nearby - and really convenient to access all the sights of Boston. The rooms were really spacious with a huge comfortable bed, plenty of spare pillows and blankets if you needed... more

The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, plenty space in the room, asked for a room at the back and it was very quiet. The staff were helpful at all times. Its in a great location, there are three T stations nearby. The nearest... more

Midtown Hotel is a bargain with a great location and a superior staff. If you want to spend your money on 15 pillows and a heavenly bed, then you must. But f you plan on seeing Boston and not sit in your room all day, have a central location for walking, eating and Boston transit, and spending your money on... more

I booked this hotel through Virgin as we had booked the flights to Boston with them. I had two main criteria, location and price. As it turned out this was just what we wanted at the right price. I'll start with location. We like walking around towns (not great for the US) and this was perfect. It was 15 minutes... more

The layout of this hotel is a bit of a trip in time. It has a very long halls and is very low (looks like 2-3 stories high), like an old-school motel. There is even an outdoor pool in an enclosed courtyard, surrounded by floor-to-cieling windows and carpeted (that's right) floor. The style of the hotel sign kind of says... more

Staying at this Hotel, worst part of the trip! The room had a very Musty smell to it. You can hear your neighbors as if they were staying in the room with you. Bathrooms need to be updated. The average guest must be about 5 feet tall since, the bed was not long enough and the shower head was at... more
