This hotel is amazing. Our room was very contemporary, clean and had everything we could need - the touchscreen phone was also nice, with maps of the city, order items from the "virtual guest shop", check the weather, view your invoice etc. We had a beautiful view of the Charles River from our room # 602. Nice flat screen HDTV... more

My fiancee and I checked into the Liberty last Saturday evening for a quick one night get away. The valet greeted us and offered to assist with bags which we declined. We entered into the beautiful lobby of the hotel, which is most certainly not like anything I've ever seen before. It has an ecclectic sort of charm and I... more

I am a 20 year veteran of the boston bar scene and found Liberty to be right in line with the current, short lived hip place to be. The bar crowd there is good. If you are looking for a place to meet professionals, this is a good place to go until the next place is the place to go.... more

Good Hotel. Clean. Comfortable. Good Staff. All as it should be for an expensive hotel. Also close to the T station over the street (see photo). Your choice to stay here or not - and a good example of why TripAdvisor is a good site. Some people will think the noisy lobby on Fri/Sat nights to be annoying and rate... more

We were hoping to spend a relaxing weekend in Boston and checked into the Liberty hotel. Initial impressions were nice, until we the evenings came....The lobby basically turns into a discotheque with loud music and large crouds gathering there. The music is kept at a loud volume and it was basically impossible for us to get to sleep. Amazingly, this... more

The Liberty Hotel is simply amazing! The room was ultra comfortable with an oversized ultra modern bathroom and a bathtub that was sparkling clean. We had a spectacular view of Boston from our room. The workout center had great equipment and was well-stocked with clean towels, fruit, and water. The staff was also extraordinary. When we arrived to find a... more

We stayed two nights in July and can attest to the sound proofing issues in the Tower building...you can hear toilets from adjacent rooms flush and doors in the coridor closing, etc. but the room is very nice and modern....thoughtful touches like dimming light in bathroom, separate tub shower, Molten Brown amenities, and safe and flat panel TV are quite... more

My friends and I met up at Alibi for a special occasion. Once we found a table the waitress came over once to give us a menu and disappeared. Then 15-20 minutes later another waitress took our drink order. After we waited yet again the waitress brought me the wrong drink. She asked, "are you sure?" I assured her vodka... more

Instead of the (fake) champagne they give you at check in, they should give you earplugs! I read reviews of this hotel, and took the advice to book our rooms in the tower, but there is absolutely no sound proofing in this hotel, there's about 1/2 an inch of space around the - very heavy - doors. People come home... more

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite (1101) because we had our 12 year-old with us. The view was phenomenal- Charles River as well as Museum of Science, Community Boating and skyscape. Really breathtaking. We were across the street from Charles/MGH station (red line). Did get a bit noisy at night, but drapes absorbed a lot of it. Very comfortable... more
