Stayed during a conference. Problem with the hotel testing their announcements and firealarm during our conference sessions which was unpleasant. A little out of the way but they do have shuttles to Faneuil Hall and such. Note that the shuttle is really a large SUV and can only accommodate about 6 or 7 people. Be early and get IN or... more

We recently stayed at the Westin Wterfront Hotel in Boston, yes it is new but definitely not noteworthy. First of all, the name is misleading. The hotel is not located on the waterfront. Our room was on the ninth floor, had windows facing two different directions, and we could see a bit of the harbor in the distance. We were... more

I like Westin Hotels, the beds, the showers and the drinks. The staff was fantastic, friendly helpful, far above expectations. The hotel is a way from Boston and beware of walking distances -- what was described as a 1/4 mile walk was really 2 miles, they are a walking city so take good shoes. There aren't a lot of restaurants... more

Loved this hotel - we stayed for 3 nights whilst on our honeymoon and thought it was great. We had booked a suite and although it wasnt what we would describe as a suite - two room joined together so you have a sitting room and then a seperate bedroom, it turned out to actually work quite well. The breakfast... more

Bottom line is: The short distance to the Silver line makes it totally worth it for the cheaper price on the hotel. Forget all the previous cry babies that have posted before. Unless you have trouble walking then this is perfect for you. Do your homework on the subway ahead of time if its your first time. Spend the $15... more

Stayed at this hotel because it was within walking distance of a tradeshow I attended but, that was the only thing that was within walking distance in this sterile area of town. The lobby is big, nice, modern and airy. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Staff somewhat aloof and cool but I've read in other reviews that this is... more

I was excited to stay the weekend at this hotel, it would normally be out of my price range, but I got a good deal from someone who could not use the room and could not get his money back. The room itself did not disappoint. It was a nice room, the bed was extremely comfortable—the “heavenly bed,” the “heavenly... more

We stayed here for 6 days in August 2008. Everything is clean and in order. Overall I found the Hotel to be kind of boring. Not very "warm" or inviting. Somewhat austere. One restraunt very stark and formal and expensive. Basically no reason to leave the room unless leaving the hotel. And then it is not very convienently located to... more

Best part of room were the bed and dual shower heads in bath! Room size average, bathroom average size -- in fact, about the same size of our $80. Ramada Inn hotel room. Worst part was the service (bathrobe from previous guest still hanging in room, no refrigerator available, room view (paid $339/night) looked into a parking garage -- had... more

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Waterfront while he attended a convention at the new convention center next to the hotel. The room was nice and the Heavenly Bed was aptly named. The service was below average. The first employee that we met, the doorman, was delightful, but after that encounter, no one else ever offered any assistance.... more
