what a great hotel! fantastic location (boylston at exeter), spacious rooms, on time room service, helpful and professional staff, great relationship quality/price, special mention for the very kind/smiling doormen and for keith, the chief concierge; our last night, he was able to get us a table at the best and busiest restaurant in the area (it was packed as it... more

Great location in the Back Bay area of Boston. Very close to Newbury Street with lots of shopping and restaurants. One block from the Prudential Center (v. large indoor mall with upscale shops). We had an enormous room (517) with a large walk-in closet and large bathroom. Impeccable cleanliness. However, the best attribute of the hotel was the service. The... more

We enjoyed our stay at The Lenox, very nice and clean hotel with good service. We had a quick breakfast at their restaurant Azure every morning and it was OK. The place did not "invite" us to come back for dinner. more

I stayed here at the end of a week in New England, during which I had stayed in some wonderful hotels and B&B's. When we arrived, our room was supposed to be ready, but there was dirty laundry lying in the bathroom. The room itself was small and pokey, with no view. I explained this to the desk, and asked... more

One of the best hotels I have stayed. We were there for 5 nights and we had a great time. Unbelievably polite and pleasant staff, beautiful room, fantastic location. I would definitely stay there again. The only issue that had not to do with the hotel but with expedia was that my credit card was hacked through the site (expedia.com),... more

My wife and I decided to book a "micro-vacation" in Boston, her college city and a town we visit a few times a year. Being a Starwood Preferred Guest member, I always turn to the Westin first (There'll be a W in town soon!), but their rates were a bit more than I wanted to pay, even to earn some... more

Yes it is an excellent hotel and no doubt one of the best in Boston but it does not leave one wanting to go back. No complaints as such but not exceptional. For example we came in from the rain one afternoon and asked the conciege where we might get coffee. He acted as if we were asking for the... more

My children and I stayed only one night at the Lenox during our northeast college tour but that one night left us wanting more! The staff is phenomenal! Everyone from valet, front desk, concierge, bellmen, housekeeping was waiting to serve us with the most pleasant attitude, something that I find lacking at most places. The room was very clean and... more

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Lennox. Room was beautiful and large. Hotel staff were extremely accomodating. Room service breakfast was delicious. Great location close to Pru tower, Trinity church, Boston public library and public transportation. We did not need a car in Boston. The subway stop was one block away. We also did the hop on... more

Boston was the start of my July 2008 trip. After a much delayed flight, due to a computer crash at Dublin airport, the Hotel Lenox was a great first choice of hotel. We were upgraded to a large comfortable corner room. I really have no complaints about the hotel at all. Where it scores highest is its great location in... more
