From the moment we checked in, everything was great. We stayed in a 2 bedroom house. Comfortable, clean, and well furnished. We had a large front terrace with an amazing view facing the Caldera, volcano, and surrounding islands. We had a fantastic week at Chelidonia Villas. From the two young men who met our taxi and handled the luggage down to our villa to the overall service to the views from our private terrace, the stay could not have been better. In a word: amazing. The owners arranged a taxi to meet us at the port (absolutely necessary because the island has only a handful of cabs), and we sped up into the mountain to Oia. The hotel isn't accessible to the street; a porter was waiting in the parking lot to carry our bags the 5 minutes (and 200+ steps!)... more

We stayed at Chelidonia in Oia for 4 nights at the end of May, and had a fantastic time! Oia is a beautiful village, wonderful when quiet, but unfortunately gets very crowded even in May when the cruise parties arrive!
