Another well well run lodge by CC Africa. The huts were comfortable but the hot water didn't work in the one shared by my wife and daughter. Mine did so I became quite popular. Arrived by way of a light aircraft to the landing strip at Sandibe, to be met by Batswalawang or BT for short! The drive to the camp included our first sighting of big cats - 2 male lions! Sandibe is an outstanding CCAfrica property on the Santandibe River in the Okavango Delta. I was greeted by the Assistant Manager and my butler(!) with damp towels and a refreshing fruit drink. The paperwork was almost nil. They made me feel welcome and explained the camp routine and layout. I was then shown to my bungalow, where my luggage awaited.... more
