Hard to believe that this hotel & B&B is located just 1/2 mile from the airport! It has a serene setting, clean rooms, and a very helpful staff. I arrived much earlier than anticipated, and just wanted to check into the area, the staff at the desk surprised me by getting me settled into my room far earlier than anticipated.... more

We didn't get the room we had booked and the front desk staff was very unhelpful. In the end they downgraded us to a poor standard room instead of the deluxe room we had booked, with the promise that they would sort out the rate difference, and let us know. We never heard back from the staff, and were left... more

The Highlander was a good, inexpensive option for anyone flying out of Manchester. It's 2 minutes (or less) from the rental car return, the rooms are large and relatively new, and the staff is friendly. It's a basic hotel, but serves its purpose extremely well. more

I'd hoped to wind down my vacation with a little opulance before my flight home. Wrong! My room was in a building 150 yards behind the registration desk. They said I could wait for the shuttle to take me there. I hauled my 2 bags over by myself. Then I found that I was booked for an upstairs room, with... more

I just spent two nights here, one at either end of a trip to San Francisco, and generally stay here whenever I fly out of Manchester. I have had a good experience every time I have stayed here. The pluses: Free shuttle to airport that runs 24 hours and is very efficient -- you are literally five minutes or less... more

We stayed here after our wedding and I would not recommend this property to anyone unless you are looking to be treated rudely and sleep in an uncomfortable bed. The dinner was wonderful but once we moved away from the dining area the Highlander was horrible. The staff in the bar area were rude, they actually told us to leave... more

We stayed here one night before we flew out the following morning. Chose this place for their park and fly package. Reasonably priced parking and free shuttle pick up and drop off at airport. Room was very spacious and clean and check in was quick. Nice little bar area as well. Would stay here again. more

My 3-night stay was plagued with inadequacy. I was attending a board meeting held on premises with a group of folks, all of us also staying at the Highlander. It was great to be so close to the airport, but that was the one good thing about it. Most of the staff was not friendly or helpful, and actually rolled... more

I called the Highlander after a friend recommended it to me. I found the staff polite, the room was comfortable and they gave me a discount for military. I would stay here again! more

I stayed here for a weekend and I have been billed three times for the samed weekend. I thought it was cleared up and then I am billed again in January for the same weekend. It rained all weekend and they are set up for good weather. That is not their fault but billing certianly is. Can't they get it... more
