My two "PICKY" daughters and I stayed five nights at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised the cleaniness of the hotel. Very cosy room, super -clean bathroom. This hotel is still a good value despite being $21 more than it was when I stayed there a year ago ($76 with corporate discount, up from $55). They have renovated the rooms which probably accounts for the price increase. The rooms are spotless as ever and everything looked very nice and new. The hotel is of course very close... more

Flying standby I got offloaded for a night at LA, and so chose the hotel as it was the cheapest nearby motel that offered a free shuttle. Nothing flash but if you need to be close to the airport, for the price this motel will do the job. It's simple but convenient. And if you need to bus anywhere in LAX on the local buses, this motel is really close to the bus transit centre. more

Being almost directly at the start of the LAX runway we quickly noticed that the rooms were not sound proof... so the aircraft noise was quite loud. Please take my advice and stay away from this awful motel. Unpleasent neigbourhood and even worse motel. The staff steal whatever you forget out in the open in your room (I lost a piece of jewelry) and when trying to get some help from the manager with this matter he told me to get lost!
