The Faena Hotel + Universe lived up to my expectations in every sense - the decor was high design yet comfortable, the food was exquisite, the entertainment was top notch. While the Faena is a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the popular destinations in B.A. (Palermo, Recoleta) I was quite happy with the hotel's location - very, very safe and... more

The Faena is the best hotel in BA - top rooms, rop service, and a lovely location in Puerto Madero - a short walk to the center, or a short cab ride. Make sure to see Rojo Tango here it is one of the smallest and most imtimate in town. Having your own experience manager was great - they were... more

We stayed at the Faena for 2 nights as an indulgence to round off an incredible 3 week tour of Patagonia and what a welcoming, intimate and seductive environment it proved to be. I'd known of the Faena for a few years and had vowed to stay there having seen for myself the otherworldly interior wizardry Philipe Starck has sprinkled... more

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. It's such a shame that someone would build such a beautifull hotel and then manage it by a bunch of pompous idiots ! Just got back from a 3 week vacation where we spent a few nights in Buenos Aires and thanks to Trip Advisor comments we decided not to... more

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. We are hotel snobs and this is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in (In Argentina, we also loved Cavas). We loved the Philippe Stark design, it was a little out there (especially the all white unicorn dining room) but incredibly creative. High thread count, comfortable beds, an amazing breakfast... more

I stay at the Faena last week and it was a real disaster! It seems they change management or something happened, but the Hotel was empty half closed nobody did care about us, lots of noise, a real shame, we use to stay at least twice a year and it was phenomenal? more

This place is a real disappointment - superficially hip and trendy, but it frankly comes apart in your hands, literally in the case of the cheap plasticy furniture and light fittings in the brick walled rooms. This is a converted warehouse and feels like it. The location really is important to note. I know BA well so was quite pleased... more

I stayed here for one night at the end of a 10 day trip spent in mostly mid priced boutique hotels. The hotel is beautiful and so are most of the staff/guests, but it doesn't seem to have that BA feeling that some other hotels do in the city. Felt like I was in LA or maybe more like Miami(which... more

This was trully a nightmare. The hotel is terrible, terrible service, the rooms makes you feel like in the zoo, you can ear all the happens in the room next door. I asked for a high floor room with a view to puerto madero, they gave me a lower floor room, with a wall in front of it. Nothing works... more

My travel agent recommended this hotel. I usually go to Hilton Puerto Madero but wanted to give this one a try. I went to Buenos Aires for business (to give a lecture in a school) and travelled alone. I loved the Faena hotel! It's so hype, so modern and cool. I agree on the bathroom problems and was afraid the... more
