The lobby is grand.... beyond the grand lobby, there is nothing too speical about this hotel. The room was small and I had a room that faced the courtyard. I was in the room over nine nights and with the windows out to the courtyard, I felt like I was trapped the entire time... due to a lack of sunlight.... more

This was a nice hotel however I was annoyed by a few things...first off, since when do hotels charge $10.00 per day to use the gym? I think this is rediculous and I chose not to pay this. Parking at the hotel is $30.00 per day however this is pretty typical of Washington DC. The internet was also priced high...they... more

We stayed one night at this hotel. The lobby is very nice. Check-in was very very fast and very friendly, as well as check-out. The room was good, the bathroom was just a little too small. Starbucks is in the hotel lobby so we did not have to walk far for breakfast. The bar is nice and friendly too. The... more

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Grand Hyatt. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Check in and Check out were both friendly and efficient. The concierge staff was also consistently friendly and helpful. We were within walkng distance to just about everything. When we were too tired to walk, it was no problem since there is... more

We went to this hotel for a family reunion. The lobby is spacious and nice. The hotel has several places to eat. Check-in was a little slow but there were major conferences checking out when we arrived. Everyone was helpful in answering questions and helping. Room-the room was nice. it was a little small for 4 people. I wish the... more

Grand Hyatt is nice, good location, large rooms, small bathrooms with no ventalation. Very nice beds, comfy. We got two rooms and the kids even enjoyed it although the pool closes way too early for the summer - 5;30 ON sunday? Staff is okay, some are very rude (security), very clean. Desk staff very helpful as is bell boys. linked... more

Upon walking into the hotel I was stuck with how beautiful the lobby was. Check-in was a breeze with the kiosk and it even allowed me to check in a 11:30am (supposed to be 3:00pm) for no charge. Upon arriving to my room I found that instead of one king that I had booked I was given two doubles. I... more

I had been to Washington several times, but this was my first time staying for the weekend to sightsee. I chose the Grand Hyatt based on its location, website, and price. The location is absolutely perfect if you're a tourist there to see the sights. Everything is a short distance away. Cabs are readily parked outside. The Metro is right... more

Excellent location, clean rooms, great customer service!! We booked a room for 4 adults, 2 double beds. When we arrived, we checked in via kiosk and went up to our room. The room had a single king-sized bed. We went downstairs and it was immediately straightened out, no hassle AND with a smile! Valet parking (a PLUS!) Metro access (SUPER!)... more

This is one of those hotels that "looks" great. It is all an illusion. This hotel is deplorable. The rooms were small. The staff was unfriendly, except for the concierge desk. The restaurants were overpriced with poor service and low quality food. The bars were overpriced and pretentious. The bistro bar has no clue how to pour a Guinness. The... more
