We spent five days at the Carlsbad plaza during this year's film festival, which is a great time to visit this buzzing spa town. The room was large and comfortable, if a bit spartan. Just returned from a wonderful week in Karlovy Vary, staying at the Carlsbad Plaza Hotel. The hotel has its own spa - swimming pool, jacuzzi and several different sauna/steam rooms all available free to residents, plus special procedural programmes available at reasonable fees.
