I just came back from the Mandarin in Munich. Unbelievable luxury and service in a great location near everything downtown. Regular rooms are of suite size - including a walk-in closet, sitting area and desk area and king-size beds. Great room with cathedral ceilings, huge luxurious bathroom, free mini bar and fruit daily. Friendly staff. Located right next to Marianplatz. Concierge very helpful. I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental for work. The service is amazing...they were so accommodating. Rooms are lovely, especially if you like the ' Modern Asian' type decor.
