I picked Kempinski purely based on location - just about as close to the Marienplatz as you can get and 1 block from Hofbrauhaus. Since we were traveling during the COLD (never above 27F) for the Christmas markets, this did turn out to be a perfect spot since you want to be old in that cold as shortly as possible.... more

i have stayed at this hotel twice in the past month. my first visit was fine, fabulous location and room (superior suite) was pleasant...spacious with a good bathroom but nothing special. the lobby area is very buzzing and would be great apart from the heavy smoking which makes it less enjoyable (unless you're a smoker of course!). the breakfast set... more

Perfectly situated in the shopping district, I had a fantastic time in the Kempinski Vier Jahreszeiten. The staff were very friendly and professional and I enjoyed my comfortable room very much. I stayed at the VJK several times in previous years. In February, I was invited by a client, and honestly I was really disappointed. This hotel was really lovely, with all you would expect in a 5 star establishment. A beautiful swimming pool and spa too. Be warned, however, that the same glass of wine will cost you 250% (yes, I did write 250%) more per glass in the Lobby Bar than when you order it in the Vue restaurant. more
