Stayed at the Amba for a trip to Oktoberfest last year. This hotel was very close to everything, from the Festival to the train station to sites downtown. We were able to walk everywhere. Spent the last two weeks of May, 2006, at the Amba. Perfect location as a base for touring Germany, Austria and Switzerland by rail as it is opposite the main train station.
