I have just come back from the World cup in France and stayed at the Lux Hotel as it is relatively close to Gare De Lyon. On first appearances I was shocked at the basics of the hotel. I stayed here in 2004 and was very happy with my room after I switched, to room 7 on the top floor -- it is a tiny hotel, with elevator, located on a side street in a residential area near Gare de Lyon.
