Stayed here in October 2008 for 3 days on a trip through Europe with my mother (she in her 60s, I in my 40s). We were mostly very satisfied with our stay here. The location was wonderful, next to Pere Lachaise Cemetery where we spent a lot of time our first day (warning: if you're not good with hills, you... more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in late October and again for two more nights in early November. We arrived in the morning after travelling for many hours, but unfortunately could not check in to the room before 2:00 pm. We were aware of this ahead of time, so it came as no surprise. We decided to walk... more

After doing lots of searches on internet, we found this hotel. Other guests reviews were good, so we choosed it for our stay. We arrived on a Sunday and Julie, from reception, was very kind with us. Our room was spacious and had a good bathroom, considering Paris standards. The small kitchen was really usefull and helped us to save... more

For the price, this hotel was good value. It was located close to a great organic grocery store and an historic cemetery, with amazing tombstones and old trees. The room basic, but quiet and clean. It also had a fridge, and some basic cooking equipment so you could make a cup of tea and heat food. The staff were freindly... more

Friendly staff, clean, quiet, American size bathroom, affordable. Located in mostly residential area away from the busy tourist areas. 1 block away from subway station and bus stop. 20-30 minutes subway ride to all the main attractions in the city. Local pubs and restaurants, bakeries, groceries, pharmacies, coin washes nearby. A great place to stay in Paris. more

Stayed for one night on August 13. Very happy with my choice. Great location - not in a busy section of Paris - but we felt very safe. Room was very comfortable and quiet at night, and it wasnt' very expensive. Metro was conveniently located, so the hustle and bustle of Paris was just one or two euros away. Julie... more

We loved the location - walked almost everywhere. Close to a famous cemetery with lots of famous people (i.e. Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf). Very spacious room. Very few Tv stations (only 1 English). Two single beds pushed together to make up a double (not the best for an active couple -(wink wink nudge nudge). Close to shopping, internet cafes, attractions.... more

Hotel was clean and room was spacious. We spent one night in room 101 without much sleep as it was on the ground floor and we could hear everything including the breakfast delivery driver arriving at 5.30am. After asking for another room, we were reallocated one on the second floor. Room was basic but clean and very close to the... more

We're a family with two teenagers...our quest - find a clean, quiet, affordable place to stay in Paris that was accessible to the main attractions. The Citea Philippe Auguste more than met our needs. Our teens had free internet access. The metro station is directly in front of the hotel. The family room for 4 was a very affordable 100... more

Great location (close to the metro, a bakery, and supermarket)! The streets are quiet, the windows give a view to French life style and architecture. Stayed here for a couple of nights with my family, and everyone loved it. more
