The Prelude Gare Du Nord is a great hotel right in the heart of the montmarte area. The Moulin Rouge is just up the road as is the Sacre Coure. There's metro stations within walking distance. Spent a weekend in this hotel in September 2008. The bedroom was on the 6th floor and absolutely tiny - I wouldn't have liked to share it with anyone - but it was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Stayed here in May 2007 first break for20 years with no kids ,Excellent location for exploring Paris .Shops Resturants Bars etc...... so returned again May2008 with the family all had a great stay .Hotel very clean staff very helpful always there to help .Food good at breakfast nothing to complain about .........Will be back soon... more
