With so many hotels to choose from and at varying costs, getting the right place in Paris can prove to be difficult. On this occasion we chose the Pulitzer and boy did we get it bang on. This hotel is a tough one as the culture shock was the only thing that brought about some of the apprehensiveness of the hotel. When you walk in, you notice the hotel seems very small. I would not reccomend this hotel in a million years. We arrived in Paris and they said they had our reservation but no room, but not to worry they would sort it out, we trusted them until 2 other bookings right behind us experianced the same thing!!! Got to airport to be told there was a strike and all flights cancelled. Will never fly Air France again. No communication, had to beg for a refund leaflet and just sent all copies of receipts, who knows if I will get the money back. Concur with other reviews but for me, I particularly appreciated: 1. Cleanliness - the bathroom was spotless. Everything worked. 2. Aircon - Arctic temp if you want it and not very noisy. Few Paris hotels have any AC - but the Pulitzer has a great system which is essential on sticky summer nights. 3. Quiet - had a 2nd floor... more

We stayed here for four nights in April and had no complaints. The room we had was small but more than adequate. The cleaners came every day though the bedding was never changed. a very nice 3*** hotel in paris. Staff was very kind, a very good breakfast. I stayed there with my family (wife+1 child) and our room was very spacious, clean and smart designed. Very recommended! more

I visited London, Paris and Rome in January and this hotel was the nicest place we stayed. Very clean, faux hardwood floors, pretty room w/ view of street, free internet access, GREAT access to subway, lots of shopping and cafes around. I would definitely stay here again. (female, late 20's) more
