This was our 2nd visit to Eliza Lodge, stayed here back in 2006. Not much had changed, a nice place right in the heart of Temple Bar but I'd forgotten how small the rooms are! We had a double penthouse room with a balcony where you could step outside for a wonderful view down the Liffey, Four Courts to the... more
We booked our flight with ryanair. 2pence each, there and back, a bargain!!! That was the only saving we made. Of course, we trawled through tripadvisor for hotels, and decided on Eliza Lodge Hotel, £90 for the night, which considering Dublin prices was great. The hotel is on Wellington Quay, opposite the Fitzwilliam Hotel, and had a great view of... more
Great location in Temple Bar. The staff was very helpful. Room was very small but adequate with a great view of the river. Breakfast was fine. Lots of things to see within walking distance. more
We just returned from our European holiday which started out in Ireland. In Dublin we stayed at the Eliza Lodge Guesthouse in the Temple Bar district. Our room with a double bed was very comfortable and we had a nice view of the Millenium Bridge and the Liffey River. We thought it might be noisy because we had heard that... more
My mother and I were very happy with our stay at the Eliza Lodge. Despite the reviews complaining about the noise and the ones saying it wouldn't be recommended for older travelers (I'm 53 and my mother is obviously older), we had no trouble with noise, either from the street or the hallways although we were there for a Friday... more
My girlfriend and I had a weekend stay at the Eliza Lodge. Overall, it was a nice enough place in a superb location, right in the heart of Temple Bar. We were given Room #400, which has absolutely amazing views. The room itself was a decent size, but the bathroom was very small. The TV (not that we watched any)... more
We were a party of 6 ladies who stayed at the Eliza Lodge last weekend - we can't speak highly enough about ALL THE STAFF - they were all so polite, helpful, happy nothing a bother. We were so impressed by the standard of the bedrooms, clean, tidy and lovely comfortable beds. Can't wait to go back again more
We booked this hotel on the strength of other reviews posted and we were not disappointed. We arrived really at 9.30 a.m. as our flight was early and although, obviously, our room wasn't ready we were able to leave our luggage there and go exploring. We checked in at 12.30 and were shown to our room. Although small, the room... more
We used the internet to search for hotels and found this gem. We checked it out on advisor and decided to book. We couldn't have been happier! The rooms are bright and clean. All have views over the River Liffey in downtown Dubblin. Located right in Temple Bar makes it close to great Pubs and restuarants. It has it's own... more
