With the tube a short walk away and the bus just outside the door, all of London is available from the Jesmond Hotel. And so is the history of the world, since the British Museum is just down the Street. The Jesmond feels like home. Each member of the staff is an interesting and caring individual with whom to share... more

We found the Jesmond Hotel through great reviews on the web and we were not disappointed. We stayed on the 1st floor in a large room for two. It was very quiet. The breakfast was an English breakfast which included egg, bacon, sausage, tomato and toast. Beans were included but we didn't try them. They also offered a variety of... more

This was our 2nd trip to London (Sept 30 to Oct 10) and our first staying at a B & B. We will never stay at a hotel again (the Jesmond will be our home base as long as they will have us)...the Jesmond was fabulous. Clean, quiet and well run. We were very lucky that they could fit us... more

Large, lovely room with double windows to keep out every bit of street noise. We were treated with care, fed excellent breakfasts and had a great stay only a few blocks from the British Museum and the underground. Highly recommended. more

My husband and I stayed at the Jesmond during the last week of October, 2008, and we have just returned. We loved it!! The hotel is located in Bloomsbury and is very central to all the major sites. It's actually amidst some of the buildings to the University of London. The Goodge tube station is just a few blocks down... more

The Jesmond surprised me. Having read some of the reviews we were expected in a very small cramped room. Although the rooms are smaller than most hotel standards, they are cozy and comfortable - larger than expected and since you don't spend much time in your room served our needs perfectly. We were not able to book an en suite... more

Just returned from our recent stay at The Jesmond Hotel. This was the first time for us at this hotel. However, we lived in London 10 years prior so knew the city well. Great location, only a few blocks from The British Museum and 3 underground stations. We had a double ensuite room. The beds were comfortable, room was clean,... more

My husband and I stayed at the Jesmond September 14-21. We loved it!! The hotel is located in Bloomsbury and is very central to all the major sites. It's actually amidst some of the buildings to the University of London. There was a tube station down the road which we used all the time, and were at our destination in... more

We stayed seven nights from 9/13-19 at the Jesmond. We were very satisfied with our stay. It was quiet and clean. The breakfast area was a pleasure and the food great. We asked a million questions and were patiently answered. The big plus of staying at the Jesmond is it is close enought to walk to Buckingham Palace, the Eye,... more
