The exterior is dull, but the atrium rather striking in its grey and white stripes. Check-in was easy and efficient, as was porterage and valet parking. I cannot say a single negative word about this hotel. All the way around, a perfect visit. From the wine and hors d'oeuvres when we arrived to the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is minutes away from many pubs and restaurants and close to the Albert Dock. The rooms were stupendous, comfortable and modern, the atrium like a dream.... more

Wonderful hotel, beautiful building, excellent location BUT terribly noisy. Because of the design, all the sound is spread thoughout the building. We stayed on a weekend and there were some hen night parties, etc. The noise went on until after 4:00 am. I had to use ear plugs for the first time. Eight of us stayed here for three nights on business over a weekend and unfortunately, we all came away very disappointed with the hotel. Our rooms were on level 3 & 6.
