We spent 3 days at this hotel for our wedding, and we enjoyed our time here. We were upgraded to a suite with access to the Executive Lounge where we had breakfast in the morning and dessert at night. We also received complimentary bottled water and a lovely plate of truffled chocolates and fresh fruits. Front desk was friendly and... more

Most important note: Unless you are only staying in Toronto, get a hotel OUTSIDE the city. The parking fee is extremely high (some underground garage). It's almost 30 dollars. Spaces are all tight and limited. People were nice. Location was good. Right above the underground mall area. Room was kind of far, was a trek to get there. The rooms... more

Had to change rooms twice in three days. First there was hair in the bathroom sink that appeared to be of the pubic variety, then the shower was clogged, and the thermostat broken. My new rooms were on the first floor, and the furthest possible rooms away from the elevator! All I got for my horrific experience was free breakfast... more

We booked a room for $55 through priceline for 3 nights- we've stayed here before and always had good service- but this time had our two young kids- (1,3) we called after booking to request either two doubles and a crib or a king, crib and cot- when we arrived we had a king, crib and cot, someone came up... more

I attended a 2 day workshop at the Marriot Yorkville at the beginning of July. The organizers of the event booked rooms for the out of town participants. On arrival, the staff was cheery and helpful. I was quickly processed and up I went to my room. The hike from the elevator to my room was LONG (well not really... more

The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. The staff was VERY friendly and proffessional. Great location, just above the subway station. As some of the reviewers have mentioned the bed is very comfortable. However, one thing I would say is that if you like your pillows to have a little spring to them, bring your own. more

This hotel had a four-star rating on Pricelin--the highest rating possible. So, I had high expectations, despite the Marriott brand... However, it was just a typical Marriott. Clean room, yes. Coffee maker, yes. TV, yes. Pleasant-enough staff, yes. That was about it. Some of the features advertised on Priceline as well as on hotel's own website/literature were not avaiable (e.g.,... more

We won this lovely hotel through Priceline by choosing a 4 star Downtown Toronto Hotel for $75 per night. We drove up to Toronto for one night from Niagara Falls before returning home to Washington DC. This hotel was very easy to locate via Mapquest directions. The bathroom was pristine as was the bedding, however the carpet has seen better... more

This is a reliable Marriott property in a fantastic location. While the hotel does need some updates like the furniture and the TV it offers a quiet and comfortable room with the famous Marriott bed and very good service that one should expect from this chain. Upon arrival I requested an upgrade for my week-long stay and was granted one... more

Stayed here from Thursday 07-04-08 to Monday 07-07-08. Hotel is a bit older and as others have said finding your way from the parking garage to the hotel lobby can be challenging at first. We parked in the self parking at it cost us $42 for about 4 days, which isn't to bad. Pros- Bed--bed was absouletly the best I've... more
