Very noisy hotel, and definately not worth the money. Did not have a good room at all, and heard doors slammy all night long. On top of it all, I got the worst view - of the fire escape and got to hear constructions starting at 6am. Small rooms too, not even enough room to setup my luggage. (one bag)... more

Well where to start.. First I usually do not review my business travel accommodations - but I am making an exception. The location of the King Edward is at the outer east end of the Theater District and Financial District. I think it is outside these areas. Airport shuttles do not stop here as it is out f the way... more

I just came back from an actuarial conference there. I've been to older hotels and understand the difference between that and a newer Hilton for example. However, I was downgraded with no change in price and no attempt was made to appease me after several complaints about the size of the bed, poor internet connection, etc. Additionally, the hotel makes... more

I went to Toronto on a work trip and booked the room at the King Eddie through Hotels.com. The hotel was very grand at the entrance and there were people having high tea in the foyer. I arrived around 2pm and was told that my room was not ready. So I asked why (its European Standard to check in at... more

Stayed here for 6 nights on a conference. Booked this hotel as there was a third-off discount on Expedia, otherwise wouldn't usually stay in such an expensive place! It was a nice hotel overall. The lobby is very smart and impressive and front desk staff were very friendly on check in. Felt a bit scruffy having just got off a... more

As a starwood member I try to patronize the hotels in the starwood group. I have had great experienc with Westin, Sheraton, W and Aloft properties. Thought I'd give Le Meridian a try. Stayed at King Edward in Sept 08. Good location yes. Rooms large but need updating. No services at all, everything at additional cost. Expensive rate for so... more

This is a beautiful hotel, with large bedrooms! The lobby is as you see - very grand and the staff were helpful. The rooms are large: I had two queen beds, desk, separate chair and end table on the other side, 32 in flat screen LG LCDs, minibar, etc. VERY COMFORTABLE living. The location is awesome, as it's in the... more

The lobby is beautiful, the concierge is friendly and helpful, and our room was huge and luxurious. And all right in the middle of Toronto, just minutes from gorgeous architecture and fabulous restaurants. We parked down King St in the municipal lot below the Dominion market, where parking is only CAN$5 between 5pm and 5am. We picked up our car... more

Great place! Been to loads of functions in the ballroom and old cafe victoria! Don't like the new Restaurant, much preferred the cafe Vic but the rooms are spacious and new. We had a suite for just one night! Ok location, close to Eaton Centre and Hummingbird too! Biff's is good for dinner and just around the corner! more

My husband and I stayed for four nights during our Toronto vacation. We secured our reservations via Priceline, and having read other reviews of the hotel, were a bit concerned about 1) the fact that it appeared to be a very classy hotel and we were on a limited budget, and 2) the fact that it appeared to be a... more
