Let's start with the obvious - it is a Four Seasons hotel, so in general the service was very good. The trade-off for that is always that the Four Seasons' rooms are small imho. What was unusual this trip was the room service. First, no-one picked up the telephone when I called for room service, very odd. Second, the room... more

I'll keep this short and sweet. The Four Seasons Toronto is an aging 5-star hotel. You can see how it would've been a classic, 5-star hotel in, say, the 80's. But it was desperately in need of updating, when I stayed there. I have a rule I try not to break when it comes to booking a hotel in advance.... more

This was my first stay at a Four Seasons in a while but I was again treated to their excellent service nonetheless. Rooms are in the process of updating with new furniture. I was upgraded to a King room (originally booked queen) upon check in. My requested extra towels and amenities were at my room whit in 5 minutes of... more

This is the first Four Seasons that I have stayed at,but if every Four Seasons all over the world is like the Toronto one,I wouldn't stay at another Four Seasons. The furniture is not only outdated, the shower curtain in our bathroom has black stains. This is Four Seasons!Surely they could have done better! We booked a Standard room and it was cramped... more

OK, so perhaps the reviews here are based on experiences with different rooms and hence the wide variety of reviews. Our room was 1816 and it was not dated or in need of repair at all! I also used a corporate rate; not sure if I would feel differently if I paid a bundle. This was the nicest hotel on... more

Good location in Yorkville, the rooms were old and cold. The indoor-outdoor pool was small but cool and useful. The Lounge for tea was amazing! The ballroom was beautiful for the event we were attending. Truffles is great fine dining. Studio Cafe great for lunch/casual dinners. Not so keen on Avenue bar. Never know who you are going to see... more

My wife and I are huge fans for the Four Season's and could not wait to stay at their flagship Canadian property in Toronto (their corporate headquarters). The staff was professional, curtious and knowledgable. However the hotel is extremely out of date. The bathrooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. The furniture was old and the rooms were worn-out.... more

My wife and i stayed from a Thursday night to a Sunday and really enjoyed the hotel. It is a 35 year old property and that means smaller bathrooms than newer hotels, but the room was lovely. The service from check in to departure was absolutely exceptional. Room service was fast ,courteous with very tasty food. The pool area is... more

This hotel was eveything that I could have asked for in a hotel, but I have to say, with the Four Seasons name attached, I was expecting slightly more. The customer service was wonderful, the fitness center was one of the best, there was classical music playing when we entered our rooms....I just though they were in dire need of... more

It's a bit of a joke to say this one of the best hotels in Canada. There is no way this is a 5 star hotel. Yes the service is very good, but when you don't need anything it lets you see how old this place is. The rooms are outdated and the bath for example was one of the... more
