Personnel kind and empathic. service at the hotel's beach (there's a public beach too) is slow though(drinks and umbrellas/chairs) and the ice machines "sometimes" have ice. Friday, Saturday, Sunday stay. weekend, only me and my girlfriend we had a great time, location excellent, view was beautiful, room clean, and nice, no problems except that cd player wasnt working.Everything else, great!!!!!... more

My fiancee and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for a 4 night stay over labor day weekend. It was his first trip to Acapulco, and my first time back since 2001. I grew up going to Acapulco, and as it holds a special place in my heart, we were there to arrange the details for having our wedding in... more

My husband and I , plus another couple, went to this hotel last year for a spur of the moment vacation. I had read about 100 reviews and found that people either really loved it or they hated it. So we went with open minds. So we were neither disappointed or elated about this resort. The food was not always... more

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was braced for a mediocre hotel experience. It was just the opposite. No one at the hotel was rude, the room was clean and had an in-room safe and iron and ironing board. The view, especially at night, was fabulous, I was on the twenty-fifth floor. Be careful of being overcharged by... more

I don’t want to bore you with a lengthy review so I will keep it short. The Crowne Plaza Acapulco tried to overcharge my wife and me. While trying to resolve the overcharge I have found that Front desk staff and management are rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. So if you decide to vacation here WATCH OUT. more

Everything you read that's negative is true. The place is nasty. Do not take a girl there to impress her, you will be embarrased! Sorely outdated rooms, horrific paint job( molded paint ), leaky air conditioning, hard to get towels, hard to communicate with staff. Crowne Plaza should be ASHAMED OF THIS HOTEL.. Astor Crowne Plaza in New Orleans is... more

This is my third visit to Acapulco. No time share. No all inclusive. Just give me a pleasant hotel with a good location. This hotel has an excellent location. There are many shops and restaurants throughout the walking area. If you like silver, this is the place. The Acapulco stores are full of silver jewelry. You can walk out of... more

THE GOOD: Architecturally, this is the stand-out hotel on the Acapulco beach. On the beach side, the 27 floors cascade from one level to the next in a dramatic curve. You enter from the street side by walking under a spectacular horseshoe formed by the walkway balconies of all of the floors. Every room has a balcony with a view... more

I went to Acapulco right before Thanksgiving of 2004. I went with 4 friends and we had a blast! When you walk into the entrance, it's all open air and lively. The staff there was nice, but the best part of our stay was our room. If you're able to request a room, we stayed on side of the hotel... more

The hotel is in a great location to go to the bar, grap a bus ride or do anything you want to do in town. There is security who is helpful but they repeatedly asked if we had a room and if we had padi for three people (which we had been surprised with when we arrived that our fair... more
