The front desk and wait staff were efficient, attentive, cooperative and so clearly pleased to have me there. The pools have those ledges going all the way around so that you can lie on them, being partly under water, but still suntanning. Good experience. more

Stayed there for 3 days during the last days of summer. The hotel was almost empty which it was nice when it came to selecting a chair by the pools. The hotel has 3 pools, however one was close since they are updating one of the two towers and the pool is near it. The hotel is 30 years old... more

The Fairmont Princes is a WONDERFUL value for the money. The other reviews that have been not as positive should be questioned and I wonder if they were taken out of context. Having lived in Mexico for the last year and half and being from the United States, I can soundly recommend this hotel as five stars. The service is... more

We stayed at the Acapulco Princess for 3 nights in mid April for my husband’s 40th birthday. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would stay there again without hesitation. The most important thing… if you have decided to stay at any Fairmont property, including this one, make sure to join the FREE Fairmont President’s club. You can join... more

There is nothing special about Acapulco. If given the choice, I would visit other towns/cities in Mexico because I was disappointed with the beach (I am a beach person more than a pool person). My husband was there for business. They were taping an Oxygen channel mini-film, Romancing the Bride, in which they asked my friend and I to be... more

This property is not worth the name Fairmont. It feels like a cheap all inclusive hotel. First of all, you need to get up at 7 am to get some seats at the pool or you will be sitting on the floor. If not bad enough, you need a ticket for you towels and there are no umbrellas to be... more

The servce ,the staff attitude especialy the nite manager who has since been promoted to the Mayan Fairmont property with good reason, was top notch. Every effort was made to accomodate our needs. We have stayed in some of the finest hotels... more

Stayed here in early March. Loved the pool area. Kids had fun at the arcade. Also really enjoyed the beach. Many reviews had talked about how noisy the beach was but I didn't find it that way. Sure there were a few people selling things but that is life in a 3rd world country. The food was really good. My... more

We stayed at the Acapulco Princess for a week during the Ontario school break. We have two boys 7 and 12. This review will be of particular interest to Canadians booking through Sunwing or Sunquest as part of the AAI package. We booked through Sunwing and flew out of Montreal. Flight was late as was the return flight which proved... more

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Fairmont Pierre Marques which is the sister property to this hotel. As a guest of the FPM you can also use the Fairmont Acapulco Princess during your stay. Although our experience at the FPM was excellent we can not say the same for our encounters at the FAP. On our first trip over... more
